Award for Contributing to College Life

The Governors’ Award for Contributing to College Life was won by Thomas Gilbert (fourth from left in the group photo above), formerly of Kingsway School, who has proved an excellent ambassador. The College Award for Outstanding Development of Personal Talent was won by Luke Smith (second left above), formerly of Cheadle Hulme High School, who has battled against cerebral palsy to succeed in his studies and star in the Manchester City Disability Football Team.

New Principal Jenny Singleton gave a warm welcome to the former students and their families and said,

“We are again very proud of our student achievement which included an A Level pass rate of 97.5% and 100% on Vocational courses. With more students than expected joining us this year and with ambitious building plans in place we now look forward to even more success in the future.”
